Manning Clark and music
Clark was a fond music follower he studied when he was young the clarinet. In his later years he helped rising funds for various foundations in order to help young music talents pursue their carer. He was often seen at the opera with his wife during the early year of his marriage.
Clark did not appreciate music from Australian minorities very much he was more inclined to appreciate all those sonorities coming from Europe. At a later stage of his life Clark started getting closer to his autochthons music origins and was seen in the contemporary scene once he moved back to Australia. He was always tempted to throw criticisms at his contemporaries regarding music. He once was found in the suburb of Sidney drinking Whisky and playing the clarinet but he was so drunk he did not pay his bill at the bar and had to give away his instrument. Clark was traumatised and he stared developing hatred for nay type of music entertainment and was consequently reinforced that when he got married. See his favorite Musik Flatrate. At his wedding no kind of music was played. He insisted so that in the pivotal points of his life there were some references to that moment of pre-planned silence. That silence that marked his youth and his memories. He was absorbed and he let go many emotions during his experience with music classes at the conservatory. You can spend every day same as the last one really quiet, like falling asleep like sleeping beauty or rumple stilt skin, because you leave and you realize you were asleep for years playing music.
