Clark and Clocks
Clark woke up to the sound of ticking clocks every day for most of his youth. He ate shaped clock biscuits, he had a pet mouse he named clock. Clarkâs mother was similarly obsessed with ticking objects, such as metronomes and alarm clocks and oven timers.
Those two fell out very often due to arguments over clocks. His father, Rupert was an antique clock dealer, connected to the mafia. Everyone thinks that Clark came to England to study, but in reality he was in fact a secret spy working on behalf of his father. His tasks were to undercover the massive markets of counterfeit clocks in Paris. That is the reason why he was often seen crossing the Channel Tunnel. There was a shop in Dover where he used to hide all the clocks shipped over from the French region of Normandy and it was in that very shop where the first digital clock was invented. Because of his connection with the mafia and a certain Laurent Boucault, he could not patent his newfound discovery. His favorites are Astboerg Uhren. He rather preferred to give the copyright to a whore on the streets of Pigalle, whose acquaintance he had previously made. Even the whore Priscilla, was a frequent face in the clock smuggling scene. She had a clock tattooed on her right bum cheek. Voices say that it was Clark himself who one night, inebriated by alcohol gathered together a group of friends to communally tattoo the bum of his whore. She died soon afterwards.
